Green Rice and Spam

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We have had a very eventful morning. Apparently, last night, a little leprechaun broke in and made green musubi for Jeni's students. They'll be eating their musubi while she reads a St. Patty's Day version of "Green Eggs and Ham" that she is transforming to "Green Rice and Spam"!

Unfortunately, the green rice exploded all over our kitchen and Jeni had to finish the cooking for the leprechaun who disappeared as soon as we woke up.

While she was cooking for them, I got green rice and sausage for breakfast. We really know how to celebrate in style!

Jeni, you look SUPER cute in that picture! About the green rice & spam....that's probably one of the most clever things I've heard. You & your sister never cease to amaze me! The sheer talent! I remember being a kid & my mom made us green eggs and ham. It was fantastik. & I'll never forget it. As I'm sure your kids won't ever forget your wasubi (or whatever it's called!) Especially the kid who hid it behind his back. You can't blame him. Too bad he wasn't smart enough to catch on.

Okay, I swear I didn't read my sister's comment before I just posted about "Green Eggs and Ham", but you probably guessed that seeing as how I wouldn't purposely try to look like a nerd. Anyway, all I was going to say on this comment was, "Sick, you ate green rice and sausage for breakfast!" But seeing as how nerdy I am you don't have to respond to that comment, you should really just ignore it all together.
