"JUST WHO ARE JERRY AND JIM?"
Jerry and Jim are our neighbors. Jim is in the Army. I can't tell you exactly what he does because I'd have to kill you.... ok, actually I'm not sure exactly what he does, but I do know he is a pilot and he served a year in Afghanistan.
Jerry lives one bungalo over and is the best cook ever. He makes incredible sauces, but he's a granny when it comes to sharing his recipes, so don't ask! :)
"WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL YOUR HAIR?"
Oh yeah... that. Well, the week before we left I really needed to get my hair TRIMMED, but my lady couldn't get me in. So...... I had to go to someone new. I distinctly remember saying, "I want to grow my hair out ....." and "I'd just like a little trim".... five inches later, here I am!!! I am not digging it at all, but it's just hair. It will grow out in a few years....sniffle....sniffle....
"DO YOU TWO WORK?"
Yes, yes, yes. As much as we wish we were independently wealthy, we're actually pretty independently poor... so off to work we go! Jeni starts today and I start work on Monday (Praise the Lord!). I got a job teaching 9th grade at Kahuku High School- Jeni teaches kindergarten at Kahuku Elementary School, so we'll be on the same grounds! Woo hoo! I was so scared because the interview did NOT seem like it went well.... but, you never know what God has planned. I am excited to get back in the classroom!
"IS YOUR FOOT OK? IT LOOKS NASTY!"
Yeah, it's fine. I'm sorry about that disgusting picture.... I told Jeni not to put it up!!! :) And her description of cleaning it was a little exaggerated (actually, it was only a little exaggerated). But, the good news (Tracey, this is for you!), I have health insurance now! So, back to the rocky reefy waters I go! :)
"WHY WEREN'T THERE ANY PICTURES OF YOU TWO IN YOUR BIKINIS?"
Ha! Just kidding! No one asked us that... you know better! :)
